With 14+ years in the edit under my belt, I've edit produced observational documentaries, factual, factual entertainment formats and reality programmes for BBC1, BBC2, ITV1, ITV2, Channel 4, E4, Channel 5, US/Canadian channels BBC America, FYI & HGTV and Australia's Channel 9. Indies I've worked for include Ricochet, Shine, Mentorn, Endemol, Love, Studio Lambert, Monkey Kingdom, Dragonfly and RDF.
A regular Stitch/Lead/Finish EP on BBC1's The Repair Shop, I'm experienced in competition formats, cooking series, build/engineering-led shows, blue light/police ob docs and much more. Comfortable with a range of narrative and script styles, multi-cam, fixed rig and archive footage, presenter-led and character-led programmes, complex technical information, legal/compliance issues, changing workflows, overseeing two or more suites and fast turnaround.
Forscene-savvy with basic Avid knowledge, I've been successfully working remotely for much of 2020 - 2025 but have also enjoyed working hybrid.
Based in the South East Region I can work in Brighton, if hybrid. Daily commutes are too much I'm afraid. Central London working is fine.
I would say I'm resilient having done cancer!. This involved major abdominal surgery and chemotherapy. I am NED [no evidence of disease] and fit and healthy.

Before I worked in editorial roles, I worked as a Production C0-ordinator and Junior PM having spent a year in theatre (a non-creative role) and short films (Co-ordinator, Location work and 2nd AD)

I took a year's sabbatical in 2009 to work for a children's charity shooting short films and creating social media content.
