Elaine is currently doing an MA in Artificial Intelligence at Falmouth University with a focus AI's impact on the film industry and film production workflows. Elaine has independently produced a number of feature films, short films and corporate films, as well as run various businesses. She was lead Producer at Medb Films from 2004-2012 and Vice President of Productions at Umedia from 2014-2016. Since 2016 she has been the running Impart Pictures and has recently developed the feature film, Being Shame, with the National Crime Agency.
Elaine set-up Medb Films after finishing her Film Producing M.A. at Goldsmiths University. During this time, she independently produced three feature films and over thirty shorts, and was accepted on a number of U.K. talent initiatives, most notably, Guiding Lights and Cine Euro, and was selected as the "most up and coming U.K. producer" on the EFP Producer on the Move scheme at the Cannes Film Festival. She was also professionally represented by United Agents in London and William Morris in L.A., and has been supported and financed by Screen South, Kent Film Office, Kent County Council, UKFC, UK Media, European Development Fund and the British Department of Trade and Industry.
After eight years at Medb Films, Elaine took the position of Vice President Productions at Umedia, where she worked on a vast slate of feature films and animations. Umedia produce 50 audio-visual projects annually, spanning from feature films to animation and series. They provide financing, co-production, and physical production services, and partner with prominent European producers.
After Umedia Elaine founded Impart Pictures, a social impact production company set up to produce films that supported charity campaigns. Elaine produced and directed, Gaslighting, for an online child abuse awareness campaign that ran between 2017-2019. The film has been utilised by various child abuse awareness charities around the world and has over 500,000 online views and over sixty 5-star survivor reviews. The Gaslighting Campaign ambassadors include film director Mike Leigh and film composer Clint Mansell, among many others.
Elaine has founded two businesses outside of her film career, Seaside Holiday Let Management, which she sold in 2015, and E-Flow Cycles, an electric bike business that currently has two retail branches in Kent. She was also a founding member of the London Film Academy, where she was Deputy Head of Studies and the founding member of the Kent Film Foundation Charity, where she was Director of Development & Education.
