I am a highly motivated, confident, and experienced senior producer and director with a proven track record of making high impact documentaries and investigations, ranging from observational films to political and social programmes, both domestically and internationally. Having worked with BBC News and Current Affairs and Documenatries for nearly 20 years, I have covered a multitude of stories', ranging from the war in Afghanistan, the rise of the Far Right in Russian, ob doc's for BBC3 and factual entertainment such as the Worlds' Most Extraordinary Hotels. More recently I was working with the BBC's international investigations unit in Africa (Africa Eye), covering a variety of hard-hitting subjects. I am a dynamic and strategic thinker with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of building strong working relationships with all areas of a production team, from initial development through to final delivery. I am a strong self-shooter and proficient on a variety of cameras and other filming equipment, including those used for undercover work. I have experience in undercover filming, both as someone who has done the filming and as a senior producer organising and coordinating it. I can also edit using FCPX and edit produce alongside a craft editor.
