As the production manager, I was in charge of liaising and running communication between client and the production team on all aspects of creative and production. For the days of production, I hired all crew and sourced local materials as the shoot was in a different city than pre-production.
On set, I maintained the shooting schedule and worked with the producers and director to ensure all departments were running smoothly and getting the content client was looking for.
In charge of the production team on set, I directed the assistants each day as well as made myself available to all crew and talent for questions about schedules, payroll or any other production questions.
I was also in charge of maintaining the budget while on location, and keeping production from overspending on labor or gear.
