About Andy Clift

I have a passion for visual storytelling that has fuelled my creative career for the past 16 years. I am a hard worker who can work well as part of a team, lead a team or work as an individual. I have a passion for visual storytelling that has fuelled my creative career for the past 16 years. I am a hard worker who can work well as part of a team, lead a team or work as an individual. I am well motivated, have good people skills and I enjoy all types of challenges. For the past 16 years, I have worked freelance as an director/writer/producer/animator/filmmaker/storyboard artist, sometimes all on the same project if needed. For the past 4 years I have worked in various high level/high responsibility roles within the long running animated web show, Eddsworld. Before that, I had many roles on various animated, live action projects, working with such people as Joseph Gordon Levitt, as well as creating music videos for bands on Universal Records and Rough Trade Records. I also have a long career within the comic book industry, having credits on books for Marvel, Dark Horse and Image Comics. Alongside my freelance work, I taught for over 10 years at one of the most respected art schools in the UK, the University for the Creative Arts, where I specialised in teaching the various parts of the filmmaking an animation practices to multiple creative degree and post-grad courses. I am always looking to improve my skills and evolve as an artist whether it's through animation, live action filmmaking or illustration.
