About Adam Dymond

With almost twenty years experience in the industry, I am a highly experienced film and television Editor in a variety of mediums; daytime TV, news features, commercials, films (long and short), music videos, and animation.

In recent years I have specialised in children's programming, working closely with directors and producers to tell educational stories in an exciting and engaging way for the young target audience.

In recent years I have specialised in children's programming, working closely with directors and producers to tell educational stories in an exciting and engaging way for the young target audience. This experience has given me a detailed understanding of broadcast editorial guidelines when producing content for this demographic, particularly in handling issues of imitable behaviour and acceptable conduct.

Starting out in machine rooms gave me a thorough technical literacy in broadcast formats and requirements and I have expanded my skills from straight editing to effects compositing and graphic design; this has enabled me to contribute additional effects, matte paintings and colour grading to many projects, providing the final product with an extra polish within the confines of television budgeting.

Notable credits include 26 episodes of Aardman Animations' BAFTA nominated series 'Chop Socky Chooks' , the award winning documentary 'The UK Gold', and Sky Kid's recent Christmas special 'Aliens Love Underpants Meet Panta Claus'.

Most recently, I have been engaged on 'Tish Tash', the new series from the BAFTA and Emmy award-winning Karrot Entertainment, and the 'Handy Bean' series starring Rowan Atkinson for Tiger Aspect/Endemol.

Since 2010 I have been trading as a limited company and offer my own editing and compositing facilities for clients on request.
