We're looking for a highly organised, determined and passionate Production/Project Manager within our busy Sparkol Studio video creative team.

The Video Production Manager would be in charge of seeing video/animation projects through from concept development to post-production & delivery, while acting as coordinator between our sales and creative production teams.

Experience working with a diverse group of people is essential. You will be inspiring, passionate and dedicated to understanding how people and processes work.

Requirements

Experience & skills

A great educational background, ideally with a formal grounding in Project Management
Proven working experience as a project administrator in the creative sector
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Solid organisational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
You have a methodical approach to working so that you can have clarity when working across multiple tasks
PMP / PRINCE II certification is a plus

Knowledge & understanding

Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Adobe suite and project management software such as Monday.com
A solid technical background, with an sound understanding or hands-on experience in video/animation production being a significant advantage
You can identify inefficiencies in ways of working and make suggestions to improve them


People skills

Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
You have worked successfully with a diverse group of people across different disciplines


Responsibilities

Working with our Studio team to oversee day-to-day operations of the department
Supporting our sales team to focus on revenue generation and client management
Managing and overseeing video pre-production planning and production activities for video clients
Delivering high quality end products on time and within budget
Anticipating and responding to the needs and requests from clients
Supervising additional staff and external contractors during video production
Identifying best practices for video and evolve daily operations as necessary
Ensuring digital and human resource availability and allocation
Developing and managing detailed project plans to track progress
Using appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule and costs
Measuring project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques
