Production Assistant

Manchester

We're looking for a Production Assistant to support key members of the Koala team

You'll be working with creatives, copywriters, editors and client service/sales to create TV adverts and Video Content for clients across the UK.

The role is based at home with the option to utilise Birmingham and Manchester office spaces

Some areas of responsibility include:

Assist in organising live action shoots, e.g. sourcing locations, casting, models and props
Admin for live action shoots including call sheets and risk assessments
Admin for any music tracks and stock images/footage purchased
Work with Client Services to manage small projects through to completion
Create budgets and reconcile them, keep track of costs along the way and inform the clients of any overages which may result in change of brief
Attend all meetings relating to each project you produce
Create production schedules and budgets to send to clients
Use the Clearcast, Peach and CARIA systems ( training provided)
Keep the workflow document up to date
Deliver a high level of customer service

Requirements

Excellent interpersonal skills and a diplomatic approach to building and maintaining relationships
Calm under pressure with the ability to adapt and be flexible in task and role and work within a fast-paced environment
Ability to work to deadlines and to prioritise effectively
Attention to detail
Team player, enthusiastic, positive and proactive
Experience managing budgets and delivering complex projects on budget and to tight deadlines
Meticulous organisation and administration skills
Prepared to travel across the UK for meetings, or shoots, sometimes working anti-social hours
Good Word, Excel, & PowerPoint skills.
Proficient at using Google Suite
Confident in face to face meetings and on video conferencing systems
