I'm a small production company with a virtual team. I'm seeking a production assistant to help organise shoots and client contact.
Ideal for an experienced production assistant or co-ordinator on maternity leave, or wanting to go part time etc.

To start with this will be a couple of hours a week. While this is a virtual position, I would like to be geographically close enough to meet for meetings. Potential to attend shoots on a day rate, even better if you are able to shoot some behind the scenes footage. There is potential opportunity to edit if you have interest in this. (adobe creative cloud)

You will become familiar with the jobs, some are very fast turnaround, I need help monitoring the direct costs, mainly man-hours, as well as keeping the projects organised online in our file sharing system. Set up and close of each project has a system planned but not yet implemented fully which I would ask your help on, a well as completing PasB's on each project, these are of course very simple compared with TV programmes. There could also be need to help researching locations, keeping clients up to date, if you want to edit there could be room for you to help out there too. As a small company I'm very keen on working with your own interests so that you feel fulfilled in this role. There is potential to help with wordpress website, content marketing, social media management etc. But as a production company your core skills need to be in the organisation of video projects (many are edit only projects)

I also run an online video school teaching entrepreneurs how to film and edit themselves with their phones, as the role grows there is potential to become involved in the online business support.

I need a reliable person who is a fast responder so that I am not left wondering if you've seen a message or email.
I understand this is a very part time job but it has potential to fit into your schedule too, and grow. I need someone who is able to problem solve and love taking on a challenge, this role may be quite varied since we are so small.

I am based near Ascot in Berkshire ideally the candidate will be either london, berkshire or surrey based.
