Video Programme Manager

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a talented and creative Videographer within the multi-award winning Corporate Communications team.
This is a challenging and pivotal role for the organisation and you will be required to meet the needs of individual teams and the needs of the force in a current and engaging way, visually shaping user experience and storytelling with force priorities into creative video products.
Supporting the aims of the force you will play a key part in producing content for internal and external campaigns. The successful applicant will need experience in both pre and post production, with the ability to plan, shoot and edit video footage for a variety of websites and social media platforms. You will have strong camera and editing skills with a proven track record of creating entertaining content, as well as a creative flair and excellent organisational skills.
You will be expected to generate ideas and demonstrate excellent editorial judgement whilst implementing campaign strategy across all productions.
Applicants will provide evidence of the following skills/experience:
• 3+ years of production experience
• Advanced Premiere Pro editing experience, including audio mixing and colour correction
• Working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and After Effects
• Proven professional experience of filming, lighting and sound recording
• Extensive experience of creating content for digital media, including social media channels, websites and YouTube
• Strong communication skills, comfortable with rationalising your ideas and are able to build strong working relationships across a complex organisation.
• Well organised and disciplined in order to prioritise multiple streams of work and deliver results to fixed deadlines.
• Self-motivated team player
• An understanding of the policing environment would be an advantage.
