Videographer & Digital Content Creator

Wakefield

An important part of our CAPA College team, the Videographer & Digital Content Creator will be responsible for designing and creating captivating video and digital media content. Filming and editing productions, rehearsals, events and other live performances, online research as well as contributing to our highly successful Production Arts & Media programme of study through supporting teaching and project work and supporting the wider college. You will work closely with students, alumni and practitioners to showcase the incredible work produced daily at one of the UK's top post-16 Arts colleges.

Key Responsibilities
* To shoot, edit and create captivating video, digital media and motion graphic content and stories.
* To film and edit productions, rehearsals, events and other live performances in single and multi camera shoots.
* To take an active lead role in all Media products, performances and events as necessary.
* To produce, manage, distribute and archive college performances and events.
* To spec, prepare and operate media equipment to the highest standards.
* Have up to date practical and theoretical skills in film production planning, filming and realisation.
* To create a range of engaging digital content such as videos, blogs, animations and showreels to be used across a variety of online platforms and social media channels.
* To liaise and collaborate with both permanent and freelance staff to produce high quality Media products, performances and events.
* Ensure the highest standards of design, planning and technical operation of all events to ensure high quality outcomes are delivering value for money and learning opportunities.
* To help us maximise our online profile and develop our ever-growing social media presence through the creation of video driven strategies and digital media content.
* Contribute to our highly successful Production Arts & Media programme of study through supporting teaching and project work.
* To support college events and productions with media set up, install and filming.
* To plan, support and produce a range of Media products in conjunction with other key members of staff to support the college and curriculum needs.
* Provide creative and proactive support for CAPA College's online platforms.
* Work alongside our Marketing team to be responsible for all design, marketing and PR for this unique and highly acclaimed organisation.
* To manage and maintain the college's media equipment and spaces to the highest standards on a day to day basis.
* To maintain up to date knowledge of current and new equipment and practices in order to advise on future developments and to maximise its impact on practice, teaching and learning.

Videographer & Digital Content Creator
* To assist in hiring and buying of equipment for Media products, performances and event.
* Monitor, asset track and manage stocks and supplies, cataloguing as required.
* Support the CAPA College staff and student teams with technical training.
