The role of the Video & Sound Operations Planner is to ensure product supply is secured to support Pan European sales of HAV (Home Audio & Video) and PA (Personal Audio) Category models

Act as primary point of contact in V&S PPM (pan-european product marketing) for production factories and SIH.

Manage weekly PO transmission and factory reply and monitor backorders to avoid product shortage at EU sales companies.

Ensure on hand inventory and in transit inventory are well controlled to achieve EU KPI settings. Ensure on hand inventory is well distributed between EU sales companies.

Manage supply of New Model Introduction and End of Life to ensure no excess inventory or shortage at line up transition stage.

Key Responsibilities & Scope for Decision Making

- Update & Maintain Weekly PSI (Purchase, Sales, Inventory summary).

- Maintain Inventory level with agreed targets

- Maintain high level of customer service to Pan European and Sales Company Marketing

- Follow up future incomings and optimize stock locations with Europe.

- Reduce risk of backorders by arranging priority logistics arrangement where possible

- Coordinate the communication with factory in case of supply issues

- Monitor IFC (slow moving inventory) and take action to reduce if possible

- New Model Introduction and EOL inventory control.

Qualifications & Experience

- University degree (or equivalent)

- Proven experience of working in related environment

- Fluent English, both in writing and speaking, preferably other languages

- IT knowledge of SAP, SAP BW. High level PC skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc).

- Knowledge of PSI update (summary of Sales requirement, stock balance & adjustment of purchase order), to be

controlled and timely monitored

- Knowledge of operations such as Incoterms, production process, lead time.
