Video Producer & Project Manager

What will you be doing?

We are looking for a passionate and experienced full-time Video Producer & Project Manager to join our rapidly growing team. This unique role combines the skills of a Production Manager, Producer and Project Manager. Based at our South West HQ you will:

• Deliver creative proposals and original ideas for new projects or opportunities.
• Manage and work on the production of scripts, storyboards, call sheets and design documents to ensure consistency of vision through each project.
• Produce and direct film shoots for our clients across multiple locations including directing camera, lighting and sound crew where needed during production.
• Produce films and content to a high standard in order to create collateral for campaigns, social media, vox pops, pitch collateral, conferences and interviews.
• Maintain the high standards of creative within our video/motion offering. This person will champion best practice and innovative thinking to raise the bar for our clients.
• Oversee the creative post-production of videos, including editing, motion graphics design, asset delivery, subtitling, tech check & quality control.
• You will: conceptualise and pitch creative concepts, host client design meetings and calls, produce design briefs, scripts and call sheets whilst managing client relationships & expectations.

The guaranteed salary is £24,000 - £28,000 per annum dependent on experience.
Skills and Experience
• Highly creative with the ability to manage video/motion graphics solutions within
brand guidelines and agreed timescales.
• Have a high level of experience of various filming techniques such as in studio, on location, talking heads and animation.
• Have a high level of understanding around shoot protocol, camera kit, best practices, film crews & H&S.
• Awareness of emerging video/digital design trends.
• High attention to detail.
• Understanding of typography, layout, colour and grid structures.
• Relevant knowledge across production and digital media.
• Good time management skills.
• Confident and articulate, with the ability to voice and share ideas and opinions both internally and with clients.
• Great team player with a client-centric focus and possess the ability to build strong and effective working relationships.
• Confident in own abilities and be able to proactively influence clients and manage their expectations.
• Strong communication skills and ensure that internal processes are maintained and improved.
• Willing to work hours as required on-location to ensure successful delivery of projects.
• Able to work in a high pressure, fast paced environment.
• A problem solver who is proactive, driven and ultra-organised.
• Self-motivated and ambitious.
• Sense of humour (strong banter is encouraged).
• Full driving licence and access to own vehicle.
