We are is seeking Video Producers to scale and grow Video Operations for the Events team globally. These positions are part of the Enterprise Engineering organization, so candidates must be passionate about Technology, live customer service and have the ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-pressure environment. The individuals need to have a strong background in video operations and building studios. Some global travel is expected. These are full-time positions based in London, UK.RESPONSIBILITIESMaintain and create new processes to improve workflow and job performanceMaintain Global quality standards for Video OperationsWork closely with Enterprise Engineering new builds to ensure that studio/video standards, headcount, and equipment are provisioned for future studio buildsWork closely with scheduling to ensure proper crew assignments and implement new strategiesReviews client requests and provides technical direction for the planning, scheduling, and delivery of servicesApplies significant knowledge of industry trends and developments to improve service to our clientsDirects and oversees work of Video Production Vendors and Audio Visual Support VendorsCultivates a network of global video resources and provides Event Ops Manager with reports on vendor performanceEasily steps into the role of Executive Producer, Technical Director, and/or Project Manager from planning to execution for any assigned eventsKeeps Event Ops Manager well informed of status of event support efforts and serves as liaison between vendors and clientsOwns the technical support lifecycle and is responsible for managing technical risks throughout support planning and deliveryCommunicates and enforces Facebook standards, creating and defining new standards as technology and scope evolvesHelps identify and vet in region resources including, but not limited to, audiovisual service providers, venues, and remote network infrastructure supportManages technical resources within budget and client support scheduleConsistently delivers high-quality, high impact services to clientsAbility to Facilitate change and serve as a change agent in the organizationDevelop & motivate talent, creating standards and expectations for excellence in broadcastingMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS7+ years of technical video production experience5+ years experience in equipment operation in live production environment5+ years experience as a project manager, coordinating producer, production manager or any other strategy or operations role3+ years experience operating equipment to support Local Audio Reinforcement, Video and Graphics Technologies including projection, switching and formatting, Video Recording and Camera Operation, Internet Broadcast Video Streaming, Network Infrastructure Assessment, Set design, and IT operations and SupportKnowledge of technical video equipment including switchers, audio boards, routers, GFX creation, cameras, lighting, microphones and other relevant production equipment
