VIDEO PRODUCER CONTRACT: FIXED TERM FOR 12 MONTHSLOCATION: LONDONWe're looking for a creative video producer to join the DESIGN102 team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a unique central government environment delivering effective and dynamic video content that makes a difference to people's lives.Apply if you:- have a proven track record of producing engaging corporate video for wide variety of audiences - relish getting to know a client and understanding their needs- know how to write a brief and when to challenge it- are super organised- can take charge of a shoot - can put interview subjects at easeMain responsibilities will include:• managing the production process of projects from start to finish - conceptualising, co-ordinating and scripting• working with videographers to shoot, edit and deliver video, ensuring outputs meet client needs and budget • directing content on location and interviewing• project management and liaising with clients• building and maintaining strong, long-lasting client relationships• meeting clients for briefings, making technical recommendations and presenting ideas for approval or development• preparing schedules for client approval and liaising with colleagues as necessary• discussing work schedules and status knowledgeably and confidently• managing multiple projects at once while paying strict attention to detail and deadlines Experience and personal skills:• degree (or equivalent) in media production, film production, performing arts or other related subject is preferred or equivalent practical on-the-job experience • experience in digital video production with a thorough understanding of budgets, production and timeframes• the ability to adapt video projects to fit the needs of clients and target audiences • the ability to self-shoot is a bonus • video editing skills with experience of using creative software including Adobe Final Cut Pro X, Premiere Pro CC and After Effects• working knowledge of DSLR cameras and lenses (Canon experience preferred)• knowledge of the commercial trends in interactive media such as special effects, sound and animation • demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels • an interest in current affairsYou will be required to travel to different locations and work non-standard office hours from time to time.Showreel required - please be clear as to your role.Applications without showreels will not be considered.
