So what does a Video Producer do at Ocado?
This is an exciting opportunity to be a part of a growing Comms team for the Ocado Engineering brand. We are a 20 year old business with the pace and flat structure of a startup. In this role you will have the ability to get involved in a wide range of campaigns and projects making a huge impact on the business and helping us scale our efforts and accelerate recruiting for the brand globally.
The Video Producer is responsible for filming and editing material to the highest standard to be used across Ocado Engineering digital platforms. Working closely with the content creators, and the creative and distribution teams, you will contribute with, and will visually shape, content ideas. The outcomes will be pivotal to delivering the corporate digital communications strategy of maximising engagement for the various internal and external audiences across the world.
As the Video Producer you will be responsible for:
Shoot stunning interviews and b-roll footage for digital platforms and social media. This comprises camera work, sound work and lighting at any of Ocado locations.
Edit material (including grading and audio post-production) to the highest standard and deliver exports tailored to the platform (Youtube, social media, internal)
Create motion design elements, repurposing templates
Scouting for best locations, planning the shoot schedule and coordinating with stakeholders and other departments to ensure the production runs smoothly
Photography
Contribute with creative ideas for content, storytelling and formats

We're interested in someone that has:
Experienced in shooting and editing high-end interviews and/or corporate content
Advanced Adobe Premiere knowledge, good knowledge of After Effects, Adobe Audition, Lightroom
Must be able to work independently and can efficiently set up a two-camera interview with lights and record good quality sound at the same time (you will not conduct the interviews) and then edit and post-process the material to a high standard
Efficient at getting great and versatile b-roll footage, ability to direct the subjects if needed
Advanced operating knowledge of Sony alpha cameras
Proven ability to light an interview to a professional standard and control the light quality
Experienced in using gimbals and sliders
Motion design and animation skills will be a plus
Drone licence will be a plus
