Video Producer/Editor

London

Spotlight Sports Group are currently looking for a Video Producer / Editor. We have recently commercialised our video publishing output, by producing high quality betting led video that appeals to our audience as consumers and bookmakers as partners.

You will form part of the specialist team producing and creating market leading video content that we distribute across our brands.

Our ability to leverage in-house motion graphics expertise has been essential to produce broadcast quality video at pace.

Our in-house production team is now able to go from production, to editing, to publishing in as little as two hours and we wish to scale this further.

Accountabilities:
* Produce and vision mix our long-form magazine shows such as What A Shout, Postcast and other planned new shows
* Quickly turn around video content from start to finish to produce a clean end product that meets ours and our partners objectives
* Execute broadcast quality static and motion graphics in pre and post production
* Complete comprehensive running orders / call sheets across our roster of shows - ensuring production effectiveness
* In-depth knowledge of Social Media and video platforms and know which type of video format works on each
* Ability to work with brand styles and follow brand guidelines, whilst working across numerous projects
* Understand and be able to work to a provided brief, with accuracy
* Produce and create content which engages our growth audience, help drive increased betting revenues and sales of Racing Post products directly from our social channels.
* Work with the wider marketing team, commercial teams and talent on a daily basis to create made for platform content pieces across social channels
* Conceptualise and help pitch new ideas
* Self serve creation of content from start to finish and be able to take ownership of projects

Requirements
* Strong organic interest in the latest online video trends and ability to translate that awareness into high-quality made for platform content
* Excellent video editing skills including a clear understanding of audio and colour correction
* Advanced skills in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign
* Produce error-free work at pace with the correct branding and tone of voice
* Advanced knowledge and experience with studio based shoots and vision mixing live
* Experience in producing professional video using DSLR or mirrorless cameras
* Have a proven record of working to tight deadlines
* Ability to quickly write effective video titles, headlines, descriptions
* Good working knowledge of video SEO best practises
* Must be available to work weekends/overtime during our key sporting events
* Strong data analysis skills to allow you to interpret figures and make informed decisions when optimizing content
* Organic expert sports betting and horse-racing knowledge - ideally including U.S. sports
* Experience identifying and managing in-house and third party talent (relationship management and content optimisation)
