SJR is currently looking for an ambitious individual to join their growing team in London as Editor and Videographer.

Overview

We are looking for a creative middle-weight editor / videographer to create, shoot and edit social, website and digital display visual content to support a very well-known brand's global marketing campaign to join our London team.

Responsibilities

Edit and create videos in response to briefs.
Plan, storyboard, light, operate camera, direct and edit video.
Take part in the ideation process, contributing ideas and creative solutions.
Working with the producer to advise on schedule and workflow
Positive can do attitude
Suggesting or selecting music
Understanding of usage and clearance requirements for music, images and footage.
Research new ways of editing and work as part of the team to ensure you are following the best procedure and workflow

Experience and skills

3 years + professional editing experience
High technical proficiency with Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop and grading suites
High level technical knowledge of cameras and kit.
Excellent understanding of video compression and optimization for web video.
Good understanding of audio capture and sound quality control
Be enthusiastic about producing a variety of content
Be able to work within a team
Ability to work in a fast paced environment
Have some knowledge of wider post production processes
Must be detail orientated, can work to tight deadlines and extremely well organised
Manage multiple edits at the same time
Driven by the creation of the highest quality of original creative content and narratives
Excellent knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro or similar editing software such as Premiere, Avid
Able to carry out mid-level visual effects work, e.g. motion graphics and compositing (ideally in After Effects or Cinema 4D)
Strong understanding of the various aspects of post-production workflow: from edit to grade, post and sound design
