Job Purpose:
To create, craft and localize top-quality video content, including business news and evergreen financial campaigns, to improve IG's SEO ranking and engagement on social media. Work produced by the Video Producer/Editor must be of a consistently high standard and delivered within agreed timescales.

Job Responsibilities:
* To generate ideas and create video that will help IG's websites rank highest in search results, driving qualified traffic to the IG website
* To collaborate with TV producers to create native format videos for social media platforms.
* Work on strategy and production of podcasts
* To take a video project from conception to delivery, including full production process, writing scripts, video editing and occasional location filming.
* Create editorial, commercial and product driven videos that generate CTR
* Collaborate with the commercial departments like social media, SEO, CRM and channel marketing in order to drive traffic to the relevant video content
* Work closely with animators and designers to create visuals for live shows and videos

* A passionate producer with a clear understanding of creative, software, production and industry trends, and interest in improved workflow techniques, including localisation

Experience:
Essential
* A minimum of 2 years professional video production experience
* Proven experience in editing
Desirable
* Camera operating (including DSLRs), lighting, sound, directing, and producing
* Previous experience of working within or understanding of Financial Services; personal finance, trading, and/or asset management
* Previous experience of working within TV, broadcasting, or news media agency
* Experience of video content management platforms
* Knowledge of content marketing on social media
* Understanding of podcast production and distribution
