The Creative team are now seeking a talented Video Editor to join the team based in our offices in Westfield.

You Will:
* Work within the video team to edit digital video for NET-A-PORTER
* Liaise with Production to help plan, produce and deliver all video content within budget
* Prepare the creative studio, checking that all equipment is functioning, setting up appropriate lighting; shoot and light on set, both on location and in the studio
* Order shooting kit (cameras, lighting, lenses, etc.)
* Complete post production for projects including grading, mastering, encoding in different formats and uploading to the web
* Research original images, music, and video content as support material to video shoots
* Take a leading role in backing up all data and organising a library of all media
* Perform quality assurance on all video footage
* Take responsibility for video upload
* Accurately archive footage to be easily accessed by the Editorial, Marketing and Social teams

You Have:
* A professional approach to work with great attention to detail, high quality and consistency
* Understanding of various online video platforms and best practice for formats (i.e. YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, etc.)
* An editing background and proven experience using Final Cut Pro and Adobe Premier
* Experience in the following applications is essential: Photoshop, Color, Compressor, DVD Studio Pro, Motion, After Effects, MPEG Streamclip
* Excellent understanding of video compression and optimisation for web video
* Ability to work well within a fast-paced environment well under pressure with a flexible, creative attitude both within a team and autonomously
* Awareness of Sound Booth systems for voiceovers
* Good understanding of audio capture and sound quality control
* Understanding of usage and clearance requirements for music, images and footage
* Knowledge of producing video for various devices e.g. mobile, tablet etc, and interest of new developments and innovation in video content
* Attention to detail on all pieces of work
* To come in brimming with creative video ideas to each meeting
* Proven ability to work to stringent deadlines as part of a team or autonomously
* An understanding of the online interactive experience
* Knowledge of and awareness of fashion and luxury, and ability to translate a luxury fashion brand within the video format
