We are currently looking for a Video Editor to join the Moving Image department of a digital agency based in London.This is a great opportunity for an editor, with at least 3 years' experience, to join an award-winning leading creative agency that specialises in creating live events and digital experiences.This role is primarily an editing position, however, a knowledge and ambition to produce motion graphics content is also desirable as most of the work will have an element of this included.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Working across a wide range of video & audio projects including; editorial, promotional, corporate, social and entertainment content.Working closely with the Creative Lead, Producers and Directors on projects, with the ability to work independently to a brief when required.Providing creative input for conceptual and pitch purposes.Overseeing freelance editors and motion graphics designers where required.Liaising with the in-house team and direct with clients to define their requirements to ensure an on-time, on-budget, high quality delivery.Working with the production team, and take a hands-on role, to advise of post-production schedules and workflow where required.Liaise with in-house departments and take the lead to ensure every aspect of content creation runs smoothly and meet deadlines.Build strong working relationships with other members of the team and freelancers to enable this.Research and implement new / updated products / programs and solutions to ensure that the agency is at the cutting edge with the services & products provided.Initial trouble shooting any issues with software or hardware and notifying IT support where required.Ensuring the execution of overnight server backups is completed.Archiving and mastering projects on completion.Complete all related administrative tasks such as; log sheets, timesheets, backup of all projects.KEY SKILLS:Excellent knowledge of Adobe CC especially Premiere Pro.After Effects knowledge or a desire to learn the application is desirable. Desirable skills include; tracking text, screen replacement, logo animations etc.Knowledge of 360/VR would be advantageous.Must be creative and keen to learn new skills and techniques.Needs to be resilient under pressure with the ability to maintain quality standards when working to tight deadlines with the flexibility to work longer hours including evening and weekends when necessary.Agency and PR experience is advantageous.If you're interested in applying for this position please send a copy of your CV and your portfolioUnfortunately, we are unable to respond to unsuccessful applicants so if you haven't heard from us 7 days after sending your application, please assume that we are unable to progress your application any further.
