Boiler Room are looking for a talented Editor to join their London Team.

The successful candidate will report to the Head of Film and will work Commercial and Documentary projects from through the entire post production process.

We're looking for an exceptionally organised, creative and motivated individual who can own and deliver projects- directly managing clients and liaising with internal teams for delivery. They will work independently to deliver high profile content, ranging from short to mid length documentaries, branded content as well as long form film content.

The ideal candidate will have experience managing multiple projects at one time and working with stakeholders at all levels efficiently & diplomatically.

A passion for, and understanding of, music within Boiler Room's world is paramount to succeeding in this role.


Responsibilities of the role:

The Series Editor will work with the Project Managers, Series Producers and Producer/Directors to deliver creative and engaging content.
Edit and finish each asset of their assigned series/project, including but not limited to long and short form documentary content, branded content, social media content and trailers, on time and within budget.
Ensure that each asset is the finished to the correct technical specification and is ready for distribution.
The SE will liaise and work collaboratively with the Creative/Design Team on assets required for their edits.

REQUIREMENTS

Requirements of the candidate:

Worked on a wide range of creatively exciting projects, with strong knowledge of TV/Film Production and Post-Production methods.
Client facing and focused.
Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in production company or a strong showreel with demonstrable skills
Competent user of Adobe Creative Suite: Premiere, Audition, After Effects, Media Encoder
Practical knowledge of different codecs and formats
Knowledge of File Transfer Protocol (FTP)
Excellent communication skills
Exceptional project management skills and the ability to work under pressure and to deadlines.
Ability to prioritise and make informed decisions in a fast¿paced environment.
Ability to adapt your skills and approach to a broad range of project types.
