We are looking for a skilled editor with a strong creative flair to join our fast growing Edinburgh-based team. A valuable addition, you will be dedicated to the craft of editing and have an in-built passion for creating top quality content.

You will have a palpable interest in the industry and be a champion for imaginative content. It's an opportunity to get behind the controls in our brand-new edit suite and work on a diverse spread of campaigns for top clients, delivering across TV, social and online.

Core responsibilities:

• Work creatively and collaboratively on offline and online video edits in our cutting edge post-production facility
• Bring a high level of organisation to the import and export process, with an eye for detail
• Manage project workflow, data back-up and archiving to the server
• Brainstorm and develop creative approaches during project development
• Prepare files for sound mix / grade / VFX supply and online delivery
• Update social media channels with latest content

Essential skills:

• 2+ years of editing experience to a high standard is preferred
• Natural ability as a story-teller, with a good eye for engaging narrative
• Sound mixing skills
• Proven ability to organise your own work, proactively improve processes and meet delivery deadlines
• The successful candidate will stay calm under pressure and thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Expertise in the delivery of content for social media platforms across a range of platforms and aspect ratios

Required software knowledge:

• High-level knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro
• A solid understanding of Adobe After Effects and familiarity with Adobe Creative Cloud
• Colour correction and creative colour grading skills using DaVinci Resolve

Desirable skills:

• In depth knowledge of video export settings, codecs and formats
• Familiarity with output requirements for television delivery
• High standard of written English
• Experience in data wrangling
• Social media savvy
• Full clean UK driving license
