The Ri is an independent charity dedicated to creating opportunities for everyone to think more deeply about science and its place in our lives.
For over 200 years, our building has been home to some of the most eminent scientists in history, and since 2020 we have been livestreaming many of our public events, featuring world-leading scientists and thinkers, online for free. We currently have over 1.2million subscribers to our YouTube channel.
We are now looking for a Video and Multimedia Producer to help us develop and grow our online audiences by: filming, editing and livestreaming our public programme lectures and working across the organisation to produce science engaging videos and podcasts to help support our charitable ambitions.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced producer with a passion for communicating science.
Are you a skilful storyteller experienced in producing high-quality video and audio content?
Can you creatively present complex concepts (preferably scientific) in a way that is accurate, engaging and user centred?
Do you have technical command and knowledge of video technologies, cameras, lenses, lights and sound equipment?

Accountable to: Head of Digital
Location: 21 Albemarle Street, London (hybrid)
Contract type: Permanent, part-time (28-35 hours per week)
Salary: £29,000 to £31,000 per annum FTE, pro-rata for hours worked
