Key Purpose of the Job:

As VFX Producer you'll be responsible for managing all aspects of a VFX project: managing the clients as well as the crew, the schedule and the budget. You will be working very closely with the VFX Supervisor and reporting to the Management Team.

Job Description:

Creating and / or maintaining bids, with the VFX Supervisor
Producing budgets and schedules, that take into account VFX work required, ensuring projects are delivered to the highest standard achievable
Working with the operations team and show supervisors to plan and schedules shows, creating an effective approach to the visual effects work
Key point of contact for the client for all budget and bid discussions and ensuring the progression of work is to the client's satisfaction
Running internal and client reports including payment schedules, change orders, schedule revisions and budget analysis
Managing the day-to-day work of the show production team and production pipeline
Liaising with key support departments and HoDs to facilitate the smooth running of shows through the facility, following up where required
Overview of the show schedule, key milestones and deliverables
Motivating and leading a team with enthusiasm and clarity
Requirements:

Proven experience as a producer on feature film projects in an established VFX facility
Thorough understanding of VFX production pipelines and post production in general
Strong scheduling experience
Very good knowledge of Microsoft Office (including Excel and Word), FMPro and production databases, including ShotGun
Excellent written and verbal communication
Very good client and crew management skills
Highly organised with first-class time / project management skills
