SO WHAT'S YOUR NEW ROLE ABOUT?

The Experience Design (XD) department are looking for a UX Researcher to help create beautiful experiences with the best possible usability and tailored to demographic trends, across responsive websites, apps and other digital products. You will play a key part in iteratively improving the experience of Perform Media's existing products, whilst also creating new best of class solutions for new markets and clients - used around the globe by millions of sports fans on a weekly basis.

As a User Experience Researcher, your key effort will be to kick-off research projects, using your talent to understand the complex issues and analyse, scopeand document your work, to create compelling project proposals to meet desired business outcomes.

To help you achieve this you'll be closely supported by a team of 4 fellow UX Designers, 3 UI designers as well as 10 multi-disciplined designers. Together we make up the Experience Design department, a likeminded group, who're eager to see you achieve your best possible work. You'll also have access to all the latest devices, software and tools that you need to succeed.


WHAT WILL YOU DO IN YOUR NEW ROLE?


Continuously research new ideas and concepts - 15%

Champion user research and experience design by identifying areas of improvement - 15%

Help the UX team by providing your findings with actionable vision - 15%

Work with Product and Design Teams to understand and execute the brief for each research piece - 15%

Qualitative & quantitative research techniques and documenting research - 15%

Initial wire framing of app and web solutions - 10%

DO YOU HAVE THESE ESSENTIALS TO BE CONSIDERED FOR AN INTERVIEW?

Skill Level (out of 4)

Be able to work within a fast-paced environment handling multiple tasks at the same time - 4

Have a strong empathy with users and put them at the heart of your work - 4

Knowledge of tools for Quantitative & Qualitative Research e.g. Hotjar, SurveyGizmo, AppSee or equivalent - 3

Experience with user flows and journey mapping - 3

Confidence in presenting and showcasing concepts and findings to director level stakeholders - 1

Ability to contribute to a product design team culture - 1

Methodical and efficient working style with real attention to detail - 1

DO YOU HAVE THESE DESIRABLES?

Design based educational degree or equivalent industry experience

Strong written communication skills. Showing the ability to share your message directly and as simple as possible.

Well organised. Show the ability to multi-task under pressure. Meeting a variety of deadlines for various projects. All at the same time.

A proven track record of steering useable experiences across responsive web and native applications.

Ability to deliver high quality work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
