Job Description:

You will play an instrumental role in the day-to-day setup of new customer cloud service accounts, technical systems administration and reporting, client technical training and support of networking, cloud storage, cloud compute and Software-as-a-Service solutions, comprising the BASE Media Cloud services portfolio.

Based in London and reporting to your engineering team leader, you will leverage your existing strengths and interests in media workflow tools, networking, storage and compute infrastructure and software administration, providing outstanding quality of service to our UK and international clients.

The role will involve numerous technical responsibilities, bridging customer support and systems administration, as well as assisting the senior engineering team with unique product development and systems integration project work.

Being part of a small, highly-specialist media cloud services team with a high level of exposure to cutting-edge technologies, offers the right candidate the opportunity to fast-track their career in the accelerating cloud, SaaS and media services market.

Role and Responsibilities:

Configuring, testing and maintaining customer user applications including Accelerated File Transfer, Software-defined-Storage, Digital Asset Management, Remote Desktop (PCOIP) solutions, Transcoding, Video Streaming and new emerging SaaS applications.

Provide 1st and 2nd line support, working in collaborating with our L1 support desk team, in-house senior engineers and third-party vendor partner engineering teams.

Provide on-site and remote desktop application user training to BASE customers, across the full variety of SaaS applications on offer.

Assisting in-house senior engineers and third-party vendor-partner engineering teams with the administration and maintenance of networks, storage and cloud infrastructure and cloud-based software platforms.

Evaluating and testing new solutions/software products and presenting findings to senior management.
