As a Technical Manager, you will lead a team within the Studios Technical Management department, providing managerial and operational supervision of daily operations. Production technical ownership, facilitating successful production completion, guaranteeing all client technical requirements are met.
You will:
- Primary point of contact for all members of the team, providing clear direction in line with values and vision of Sky Production Services
- Responsible for all line management and performance management issues for direct reports.
- Define and implement training and development requirements for all direct reports.
- Establish and maintain essential methods of communication within your team and across the wider department of Production Studios.
- Closely collaborate with Studio Managers and Resource Supervisors on delivering best service to our clients.
- Technical management of a group of productions within studios, co-ordinating and leading through all stages of production
- Main point of contact for all technical aspects of production on specified studio days, managing any changes or problems that occur.
- Work with the team to constantly update equipment, processes and provide creative ideas and solutions to enhance productions and the client experience.
