Technical Co-ordinator - Full Time - 6 months Fixed Term Contract

We are looking for a Technical Co-ordinator to carry out an administration role working in a busy in-house production hire and technical department. The department is responsible for the technical aspects of our natural history and factual entertainment productions including acquisition / filming, post production, delivery and archiving. The technical coordinator role is the main point of contact to production staff to ensure that the creative process runs as efficiently as possible, on time and on budget.

• Liaising with our productions to schedule our in-house filming and edit equipment.
• Booking equipment from 3rd party rental companies.
• Relaying technical advice and suggesting viable alternatives if equipment isn't available.
• Creating accurate quotations, carnets & internal kit hire orders.
• Equipment procurement.
• Managing and charging maintenance and replacement of broken and missing equipment.
• Collating hire data and reports
