We are looking for an enthusiastic, creative & organised Technical Assistant to join our busy, fast-paced video production company. The candidate should have a positive attitude towards hard work and eagerness to learn. This is an entry level role that serves as a great start for individuals looking to progress up through the technical side of the video production world, with opportunities to expand skill sets in a variety of areas in the future including camera work and editing work. Responsibilities and requirements include:

THE ROLE
- Digitising and capturing footage from various sources.
- Encoding and transcoding of files to various formats.
- Localisation of content/audio file extraction for transcription.
- Collection of AV content for internal distribution to editors.
- Standards and frame rate conversion.
- Quality Control.
- On site video ingesting and storage at shoots.
- Content management on RAID.
- Media managing and archiving of digital content to LTO tapes.

REQUIREMENTS
- Experience using Adobe Creative Suite including Premiere Pro and Adobe Media Encoder.
- Further knowledge of digital video file format encoding software.
- Basic editing experience/knowledge
- Experience of working with online and broadcast video formats.
- A technical understanding of video and audio signals, and broadcast standards.
- A general proficiency and organisation on Apple Mac computers.
