Job DescriptionA client facing Technical Account Manager role has become available at a large acclaimed Live Events company; you will take on creative, technical and financial responsibilities from account management through to on-site production.The COMPANYOur client is a prestigious high profile live events company whose clientele includes some of the biggest names in the music industry. They offer their clients a 360-degree solution across lighting, rigging and video requirements.The ROLEThis is a multi-faceted role with a diverse range of responsibilities; from driving sales by managing client relationships, assisting the business development team, and providing coordination and support for projects in corporate events.Key Responsibilities -Maintain and develop client relationships to generate and identify sales opportunities and potential projectsProduce proposal packages to negotiate and close deals with clientsCreate and collate contracts and invoices whilst negotiating and presenting pricing quotes for a range of projectsTake responsibility for the technical implementation of large scale high-profile events and productions including the completion of all pre-production tasks for showsPrepare technical drawings adding infrastructure for Lighting, Video, Rigging and Audio Systems with the in-house CAD departmentWork on-site acting as a Crew Chief whilst monitoring and reporting changes in schedule that may effect H&S plan and costsThe CANDIDATEWith significant experience in an Account Manager role in the live events industry, you will have an in-depth knowledge of technical equipment with the ability to articulate the benefits of it to clients.You will have superb communications skills that assist you to build professional relationships but also have the gravitas to lead a crew on site.You are a pro-active, technically proficient worker who has a creative flair to generate imaginative proposals for clients.
