Supervising Producer

The Supervising Producer of Video Programming and Development will ensure the effective management and delivery of i-D's in-house video content. You will manage all i-D video productions across platforms, with a focus on social video and the development of Gen Z audiences. Your role is to be fully immersed in the i-D world and help define how i-D should be represented in a moving image. You will ideate, be plugged into youth fashion culture scenes, content consumption patterns and a predictor of trends.
Responsibilities:
To produce and originate distinctive multiplatform content for i-D.
To seek improvements in content production and develop further efficiencies in i-D's working practices.
To construct a full production schedule and budget in conjunction with the Production Management team.
To manage budget, project timelines and deadlines.
To ensure content reflects our diverse audiences.
To contribute to the development and implementation of the department's strategy and policy.
To lead, motivate and support a team, ensuring that the editorial vision is communicated and understood from planning through to delivery.
To develop and manage positive working relationships with staff, contributors and talent and be able to give constructive feedback.
To keep up to date with emerging industry trends and make sure i-D video remains an industry leader.
To liaise with Rights teams and contract negotiators and ensure copyright and contracts adhere to VMG standards.
To be accountable for the compliance and content delivery of output, acting within i-D TOV, Legal and Health & Safety guidelines.
Who you are:
You have significant experience in producing and delivering multiplatform productions.
Highly developed planning and organising skills. Ability to manage several areas of work at one time, prioritising, delivering consistently to deadlines and reacting positively to changes and conflicting priorities.
Excellent editorial judgement and knowledge of the Gen Z audience, their needs and expectations.
Proven experience of taking ideas from concept to finished product whilst driving forward creativity.
Able to lead the team to develop creative ideas which engage diverse audiences in a demanding creative environment.
Experienced in managing and motivating a team, and actively managing team performance, including talent.
You have the ability to consider a range of problems and use your own judgement to apply effective and time-critical solutions.
Experience and knowledge of managing financial budgets and production schedules.
You have experience facilitating complex conversations between departments, and varying levels of management.
You have a strong network of contributors within the youth culture and fashion industries and knowledge of talent both in front and behind the camera.
A deep understanding and interest in global youth culture.
