Studio Manager/Production Coordinator

London

Compost Creative is looking for a Studio Manager / Production Coordinator.

The purpose of this role is to ensure the effective running of the studio. There are around 10 Designers in the team and you will also support the 3 directors with a small amount of diary management and email correspondence.

The ideal person for this role will be someone who will thrive working in a lively environment of creatives, who is highly organised and who will represent and be the face of the studio. Proven experience working in a similar environment will be important.


Job Types: Full-time, Part-time - we're open to both options depending on the candidate.


Responsibilities:

Responsible for the overall running of the studio and maintenance, supplies, security, utilities and liaison with the landlord.
Responsible for maintaining a comfortable and tidy working environment - inc. management of part time cleaner.
Co-ordinating meetings, social events and weekly review sessions.
Greet all guests and assist with meetings if required.
Answering telephone calls, taking clear and detailed messages.
General administration if requested inc. diary management
Responsible for administration of staff absence (Holidays, sickness)
Responsible for contracting new staff / freelancers
Responsible for monitoring schedules and budgets.
Manage Software licenses and database of all equipment/licenses.
Potential to assist with Social media/website content of company.
Requirements:
Very strong organisational / project management skills

Basic IT skills with Macs or Windows
The ability to meet deadlines
Excellent diary and email management skills
An interest in the production side of VFX,TV, film and animation.
True team player attitude no task too big or small to take on with enthusiasm


Desirable:


Experience with google-docs, especially spreadsheets.
Minute taking.
Budget management and cost control experience.
In design/photoshop experience.
Knowledge of Wordpress would be a nice bonus.
Experience within the industry .
