ITV Studios Daytime creates over six and a half hours of live TV every day. With programmes on air from 6am to 6pm, there's a constant buzz!
The ITV Studios Daytime slate is filled with Good Morning Britain, Lorraine, This Morning and Loose Women. The Daytime market is highly competitive and vitally important for both ITV Studios and our network. Most of these programmes run 52 weeks a year and are critical to our share of viewing. Daytime hands the ratings baton over to peak.
It's an exciting time to be part of our team with all of our big brand programmes having been refreshed with a modern on screen look as well as high editorial aspiration. We bring our viewers the latest breaking news, biggest entertainment stories and exclusives and we have a lot of fun along the way. We have recently moved to our new home at BBC Studioworks where we have taken over two of their newly refurbished studios.
The Studio Manager will work as part of the team who manage the studios and crew who report directly into the Head of Studio Operations for ITV Daytime. You will work across all the live daytime programming, supporting the delivery of all technical, logistical and operational elements. You will be responsible for making sure the output is delivered with the right level of resourcing in a cost effective manner whilst not compromising the ambition and delivery of the programme(s). This role includes the day to day line management of the Heads of Department and their wider teams. You will be supported by the Head of Studio Ops but will be expected to be able to manage the team independently as and when required.
You will have proven experience of the inner workings within a live studio environment, especially in a production management capacity and have a great eye for detail with the foresight to roster within budget now and for future requirements.
The Studio Manager will deal with various complex matters and multiple stakeholders on a daily basis. You will have the ability to work positively under pressure, delivering results to tight deadlines whilst taking a proactive approach.
