Studio Assistant Job Description

About Us

Cherryduck Studios is popular film and photography studio complex in the heart of East London, offering flexible shooting space to production companies, photographers, organisations and publications. They are all available to rent on a daily basis, with a selection of supporting photography and video equipment also available for hire.

The Candidate
We are looking for a full-time Studio Assistant. The candidate must be flexible as they will occasionally need to work weekends and evenings.

Responsibilities
• Day to Day maintenance of the studio - ensuring the studios are clean and presentable at all times.
• Looking after clients booked into studios - making breakfast / coffee; grabbing additional equipment etc. as the client requires.
• Helping to prepare kit for shoots
• Turning around studios between bookings
• To aid the Head of Studios with booking clients into the Studio.
• Answering calls and responding to emails.

The Candidate
We are looking for a hard-working candidate who will get along with the friendly team here at Cherryduck. The candidate needs to be flexible as they will occasionally need to work evenings and weekends (dependant on client bookings).

We are looking for someone organised and proactive - the studios must look presentable at all times!

A knowledge of photographic and video equipment is preferable. Whilst we don't expect a candidate to be an expert in all our kit - a base knowledge would be good.

Salary
£18,000 - £20,000 depending on experience.
