As part of our growth we're now on the lookout for a new Studio and Facilities Coordinator to join our team here in Glasgow.This is the perfect role for someone looking to take the next step in their career in the film and advertising industry.Job DescriptionThe role of Studio and Facilities Coordinator requires an extremely well organised, enthusiastic person to join our exciting and growing team here at Cut Media.As Studio and Facilities Coordinator you will support the management team and oversee the day to day running of our busy production studio. The successful candidate will plan and manage the schedules of our team of creatives, directors and editors, with a key focus on the efficient workflow of the post production department. You will be responsible for ensuring the best utilisation of both internal resource and external suppliers, positively influencing project schedules and forward planning to avoid scheduling conflicts, all to keep our studio running like a dream.Your background could be in production, studio or agency traffic coordination as long as you are highly organised, systematic and have a positive attitude, as you'll be a key player in facilitating our ongoing studio growth.We could start to unload the thesaurus to describe our work, approach and what we're all about at Cut Media, but the bottom line is that we're a company that are driven by working as one team in order to make incredible video campaigns that no-one else is making, or can make. What you will do:Coordinate the day-to-day planning and running of the studio including diary and resource management, capacity planning and forecastingMonitor the efficiency of processes and systems and proactively recommend improvementsCoordinate and implement weekly team schedule and monthly forecasting scheduleLead weekly team status meeting and distribute minutes and actions to team membersImplement and manage post production schedules for all projects, as directed by senior production teamTrack & report on post production time targetsProject resource management ensuring best utilisation of both internal and freelance staff Coordinate media management and archive management Coordinate kit orders and deliveries, and maintain organised inhouse kitSupport senior production team from time to time with administrative tasks including post production paperwork, and preproduction accommodation and travel bookings.You must have:A fun, outgoing personality and a positive can-do attitudeA polite, confident and friendly manner with a good sense of humour!Two or more years of experience within a production, post production, traffic or resource coordination roleThe ability to work to tight deadlines across a variety of concurrent projectsThe ability to identify and resolve scheduling issues An understanding of file-based deliveryAn understanding of and adaptability to different project & time management softwaresProficiency in Microsoft Office suite, in particular Excel.Excellent communication, resource and time management skills A proactive approach to streamlining and improving processesMeticulous attention to detailA willingness to learn and develop in the role.We'll like you more if you:Have a full driving license.Have experience using Adobe Creative Suite.Have experience / interest in travel, adventure, outdoor, cycling or action sports.To be considered for this role, your application must include the following:CVNotice period required.Answer the following question: Are you a hunter or a gatherer and why?
