Emmerdale are looking for an experienced storyliner to support the Story Producer and Producers in creating and delivering our storylines.

The Storyliner will join our editorial department, helping to create and produce storylines to the highest possible standard. You will take notes from the Producer, and redraft storylines appropriately, as well as assisting our writers, script editors and production team. You will need to have a keen passion for Emmerdale, a flair for creative writing and love working in a tight knit team.

You must have previous editorial experience working on a continuing drama and a solid understanding of production on a continuing drama. You need to demonstrate an understanding of character, story and structure and have the ability to write clearly and concisely to tight deadlines.

In return, you'll get to work with a brilliant team and be part of an institution, helping to create unmissable drama. Emmerdale commissions in excess of 322 episodes per year and thus require long and unsociable hours.
