Interpret Director's briefs: either written and/or visual.
Create Storyboards that convey the action, acting of characters, scene composition, placement of cameras and continuity in the given sequence(s).
Present storyboards to Director, Lead/Supervisor and other Story Team members as required.
Developing new drawing as required to fix, change and/or improve sequences during the storyboarding phase.
Suggesting suitable alternative approaches to story where appropriate.
Deliver results that meet and exceed expectations.
REQUIREMENTS:
Ability to draw clear and readable storyboard panels that communicate the action/narrative.
Able to understand, decipher and interpret a script into visual narrative and sequential art.
Ability to present work in a cinematic style with dynamic camera movement.
Ability to generate story ideas and alternative options.
Good presentation skills.
Ability to present work clearly.
Able to tell/draw a good, engaging story that holds the audience's attention.
Collaborative worker, able to operate as part of a team and alone when necessary.
Able to take feedback and direction well and move forward in a constructive manner.
Adaptable to a wide variety of styles.
Able to follow established designs and produce consistent work.
Deadline driven, motivated and a strong sense of initiative.
Ability to work with others in the wider studio team; Producer, Pre-Vis Team/Animation Team and, if required, Client or Scriptwriters.
