Stores Specialist

For nearly half a century, the National Film and Television School (NFTS) has developed some of Britain and the world's top creative talent. It is widely acknowledged to be the top school of its kind in the UK and one of the best internationally. In 2018, the NFTS was awarded both the BAFTA for Outstanding British Contribution to Cinema and the Queen's Anniversary Prize for Higher and Further Education.

We are now advertising for a Stores Specialist to support the Technical Stores team. Technical Stores are responsible for the storage, issue and repair of a wide range of professional film equipment including lighting, audio, digital and film cameras.
The Stores Specialist will check, prepare and issue equipment to staff and students, check equipment on return, carrying out repairs as necessary, and will train staff and students on the use of the School's digital and film equipment.

The successful candidate will have broad knowledge of the operational use of Film Cameras and associated grip equipment as well of experience of booking systems and checking in and out of equipment in a stores type environment. You will have a friendly manner and good customer service skills with the ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment.
