Social Media Content Producer

London

We have the most exciting and new opportunity for a Social Media Content Producer to join our team in Chiswick, West London, in a fast paced and diverse role. We're online at qvcuk.com and on our Apple and Android apps, plus you can find our TV channels on Freeview, Sky and Virgin Media. We sell big-name brands; everything from Dyson to Bose or Elemis to Benefit. Our business isn't like any other business and you'll love our people - we're a friendly bunch.

If you're the type of person we're looking for then what you don't know about Instagram, Facebook, YouTube and Twitter isn't worth knowing, but your social media knowledge won't end there. We're looking for someone immersed in digital culture who'll produce and create social-specific content for all our social media platforms. This type of content will be varied and offer you the chance to be super creative. You will be expected to oversee the content production process from inception to delivery, often creating content from scratch and also working alongside other teams or creatives in order to leverage their work for social use. You'll also set up your own shoots. You're a competent self-shooter but you'll also be happy directing crew and talent in studio or on location.

You will be constantly reviewing our social media output and that of our competitors, while looking for new content opportunities and ensuring that QVC remains relevant and ahead of the curve. We will expect the successful candidate to be bursting with creative content ideas, to be agile and to work to tight budgets and deadlines, ultimately delivering exciting content that drives engagement with new and existing QVC customers.

A creative live-wire and a natural-born communicator, you should also be a friendly, approachable 'QVC person' to join our dynamic team. You will work closely with other QVC teams to ensure that the material you produce is aligned with the intended strategy.

We're looking for someone who is highly organised, self-sufficient and who can multitask on a daily basis as you may also be required to submit budgets, risk assessments or story boards.

This is the perfect opportunity for someone looking to develop their creative content skills further. We are looking for candidates who have knowledge or experience of retail and/or customer marketing, and a keen passion for working in a media production or digital production environment. You will be a self-sufficient content creator. A competent self-shooter/self-editor, familiar with Adobe CC.You will be able to share with us your experience of creating social-media specific content on application!

The role will be demanding, but rewarding, and the successful candidate must be able to work using their own initiative, while remaining enthusiastic and passionate in what can be a fast-changing environment.

Candidates should supply a link or showreel with their application, detailing their specific roles on each project where appropriate.
