DESCRIPTION:• Reporting to the Head of Production & Broadcast• Produce and develop original content across Laureus platforms (including for TV and social media)• Planning and execution of video shoots, proper care and maintenance of video equipment, video editing and finishing - to include planning and concept documents, budgets for approval and post-event reporting• Management of Laureus' video archive• Create content for Laureus' social media platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, Twitter and YouTube• Maintaining a rolling schedule of content - optimising both original and archive content, with maintenance of content performance via metrics to inform future projects• Contributing to editorial planning meetings• Working as part of a wider editorial team to deliver compelling, quality content QUALIFICATIONS:Technical Skills • Understanding of a video work flow, file types and codecs • Proficient with DSLR, camcorder and professional video camera operation• Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud (or similar) and file-sharing services (e.g. DropBox, WeTransfer and FTP servers)• Some experience, and understanding of, Digital Asset Management (DAM) services and systems• Experience operating own off-line archive and storage solutions• Excellent working experience of lighting kit and setup, audio capture kit and setup (examples will be required)• Ability to shoot and edit to an industry leading standard and to direct talent in a high pressure studio environment• Relevant professional experience in editing and grading in Adobe Premiere.• Competent in use of After Effects and Photoshop desirable• Ability to source and negotiate with music licensing, or commissioning original music.• Excellent understanding of file formats and industry standard codecs and encoding.Selection Criteria• Minimum of 2 years' experience working in this field• An interest in - and knowledge of - sport (experience in sports-related video is not essential)• Excellent camera operating and video editing experience within agency, broadcaster or in-house team• Adaptable style and approach based on subject • Excellent organisational skills and able to prioritise and effectively manage multiple projects• Proven experience of leading teams, on set, on location or in production facility• A second language is an advantage• Showreel demonstrating shooting, editing and motion graphics capabilities.• Ability to work within corporate identity/brand guidelines and to consistently interpret them into video output• Experience and ability to translate written brief into engaging and inspiring content output• Ability to create customer-centric content with genuine connection reflecting Laureus• Highly motivated, proactive, organised and take full ownership of projects• Client facing skills, negotiation skills, creative team player and experienced problem solver• Flexible approach and attitude to working patterns• Role requires international travel, long working days and occasional weekends (a British/European Union passport is essential)• A full driving licence is required
