Social Content Editor

SJR is currently looking for an ambitious individual to join their growing team in London as a Social Content Editor.

Responsibilities:

It takes a lot to get attention online - especially attention for the right reasons. You're going to help us get our clients the good sort of attention.

Working across multiple accounts, you'll be coming up with and delivering innovative ideas for fantastic content that will get people talking and sharing, across all formats and all platforms. You'll need to be able to write and edit words to a professional standard, but this is not just about words.

You'll be seeking out the latest trends and tech to help us deliver amazing digital experiences, hunting down amazing people to interview and feature in videos, helping direct photo and film shoots, working with the design and multimedia teams on developing graphics, animations and ideas for new formats.

Requirements

Essential:

Demonstrable passion for and understanding of social media, multimedia, and innovative content formats
Professional writing experience, preferably online
Subject-matter expertise in two or more of the following areas:
Health/medicine
Science (esp. biology)
Gender equality
Sustainability
Interviewing experience
Willingness to work across multiple projects, adapt and learn

Desirable:

Social media content production
Video production (scriptwriting, concepting, art direction)
Infographic conception/creation
Sub-editing
Experience working for and with clients
