Shooting Producer/Director

Brighton

Alaska TV are looking for an experienced, journalistically thorough shooting Producer/ Director for a 3 x 60 factual series about young Britons and their attitude to drugs.

The successful applicant will have a proven track record as a Producer/ Director working with young, first time contributors. Experience with drug related shows would be an advantage (think Drugs Map of Britain, Cocaine: Britain's Epidemic on C5 or Gordon Ramsay on Cocaine for ITV).

PD will have to be across all the filming in the UK and South America, self-shooting on an FS7 and C300. Extreme environments experience and proven track record filming abroad in difficult conditions is a MUST. Knowledge of South America and Spanish language would be an advantage.

Whilst the series is factually based the SP will have to use a few Factual Entertainment devices across the run of 3.
The start date is 3rd September for 16 weeks.
It will be a distinct advantage if the candidate lives outside the M25 with the ability to work in our Brighton offices.
