Experienced self-shooting Producer/Director, or DV Director/Shooting AP with ambition to step up, required by BBC 1 daytime series Close Calls on Camera.

Must have a good number of self shooting credits and strong camera skills (Sony FS5).

Experience of dealing with vulnerable contributors and an empathetic manner & interview technique is paramount, as is the ability to tell and illustrate a story in great detail.

The role has the potential to be away from home/base for several days at a time (including some weekends) filming across the UK and Ireland.

The main office base is in Southampton so candidates should be able to base themselves there during the production period.

Confident driver needed due to extensive travel (sharing).
