We are looking for a talented French-speaking Shooting Assistant Producer with a proven track record (3 broadcast credits or more at this level). This is not an entry level position.

Ideal candidates will be self-starters, have worked on shows like Rick Stein's Secret France / Jamie Cooks Italy and will have demonstrable knowledge of VT finding/ scheduling and logistical planning of this type of food series. Confident phone manner is essential.

Working closely alongside the Series Producer/Director you will be responsible for setting up filming, extensive shooting (on the Sony FS7) and wrangling rushes on location. An eye for detail and keen editorial sense are essential as you will be the key long-term point of contact with contributors and have to identify what's important and engaging in a story. A passion for and knowledge of food is a plus. The role will involve at least 3 weeks shooting in France and travel to various locations throughout the South of France. You must have at least 6 months to go on your passport, and a European passport could be an advantage.

Start date is Mid-March, running at least until the end of May. We are based in London though currently working remotely.
