Twofour West, in Devon are looking for a shooting AP for the latest series of Impossible Engineering which we produce for Discovery's Science Channel (US), Yesterday (UK) and a host of international broadcasters. Starts in mid-January for between four and five months. We are looking for somebody with a great factual background, preferably with experience in engineering or science programme-making. You'll have a knack for taking a complicated subject and putting it across in a simple, easy to understand way to make interesting and informative television. You'll have experience of setting up filming around the world and you'll be a confident self-shooter, shooting second camera in a small two-person team. Experience making programmes for Discovery and UKTV would be a bonus. The role is based in our Devon office on the outskirts of Plymouth with a fair amount of pre-production, extensive (often international) travel and then supporting the PD in the edit.
