We are looking for a creative and innovative Senior Video Producer who is always looking for new ways to excite and captivate audiences, whether for social media, internal communications or long-form storytelling.

Our Team

You will be working in the Committee Online Services team (COS), supporting the work of select committees. Select committees are cross-party committees of MPs and/or Members of the House of Lords who examine government policy and spending. What is the role?

House of Commons select committees have become dominant in the news in recent years, and their influence continues to grow. In any week you could be working on issues as diverse as the covid-19 response, body image, plastic waste, HS2, the withdrawal from Afghanistan, and many more. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead our video work, which is increasingly important in our public communications, and in encouraging a wider range of people to engage with the work of select committees.

This is the only Senior Video Producer role in our team, and you will collaborate with our Video Producer and Senior Animator; you will also be part of a wider network of staff across Parliament who work in video production. You will work closely with key stakeholders including Members of Parliament and witnesses to select committee inquiries. You will set the direction for video on behalf of select committees, and will coach, mentor and in some cases manage staff to ensure quality and impact.
