Nexus Studios is looking for talented Senior Technical Artists, freelance and permanent, who can work across a range of projects with varying technologies, leading and coding on projects with a particular steer towards realtime technologies using Unreal & Unity.

You are responsible for building tools, scripts and shaders, maintain pipelines and provide technical support for artists and engineers. You should be eager and excited to embrace new technologies and pipelines but still be a pragmatic and hands-ons problem solver.

You are the bridge between art, coding and design, working closely with the art team to establish and maintain performance and visual style at all times, while ensuring efficient creation and integration of real-time assets within multiple platforms. You'll also work with our coders to manage 3D assets and materials and generate scripts in real-time engines..

What you'll bring
* Good working knowledge of UE4 and Unity. Spark AR and AR Core also beneficial.
* Coding skills - Python or C++ a benefit
* Experience with PBR creation tools (Substance, Quixel, Mari)
* A self-starter who can work well in a fast-paced environment and enjoys problem solving
* Strong organisation, communication and time management skills
* Leadership skills and ability to mentor and train staff
