Based in Liverpool and London, Lime Scripted is the home of ambitious, young-adult drama, telling stories for today in a fearless way. Headed up by a BAFTA and RTS award-winning Executive Producer with first-class experience in developing premium drama for all audiences, this is an ambitious and exciting time for Lime's expanding scripted drama team as we build an original slate of great stories, brilliantly told for growth both in the UK and US. Our hugely creative and energetic team are now looking for a Senior Script Editor, initially for 12 months with potential to become a permanent fixture for the right person, who will be at the heart of all key pitches and treatments while in development and production, working hard to maintain the editorial integrity of scripts, from initial story lining to amended shooting drafts.Based in Liverpool reporting directly to the Head of Development, working closely with the Development Executive and wider team, you will instruct, inform and engage selected external writing, script editing and other creative partners. You will work with fastidious detail demonstrating a creative and innovative flair and passion across all scripts while reviewing and revising pitches. You will work closely with the Assistant Script Editor delegating tasks to ensure that your focus is on priority projects. Adept at identifying potential risks to key projects with a focus on providing creative solutions, you will give regular project updates and briefings to the wider Lime Drama team throughout all phases of development and production.You will have a curious mind with a flair for investigation, allowing you to uncover and target writers, original ideas, novels and scripts with the potential to be made into a successful drama series by Lime Pictures.
