This is a great opportunity for an experienced sports market researcher to advance their career in our dynamic and exciting company. As a Market Research Manager, you will be utilising your knowledge of sports rights and ensuring that our commercial and wider teams are aware of sports media rights acquisition, audience consumption trends, competitor analysis and broader industry news.
We are an innovative and progressive online media and broadcasting company with over 2,800 permanent employees spread across the globe. We concentrate just on sports and our business is divided into four divisions, dealing with content, analytics, gaming and broadcasting.
Your responsibilities:
Researching sports consumption trends in existing and potential markets
Analysing industry developments and market intelligence reports
Competitor analysis across the broadcasting, digital and rights landscape
Making recommendations to management and liaising with stakeholders across the group
Assisting in preparation of materials for rights holder meetings and pitches
Management of reporting and presentation materials
Maintaining high levels of specialist knowledge
Overseeing the output of more junior team members
About you:
Ideally degree educated
Strong experience in commercial/ research in sports rights
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ever changing environment; highly analytical with strong problem-solving skills
Comfortable with presenting information to more senior colleagues
Proactive, passionate and highly organised
